Inclusion

Inclusivity and diversity feel a bit like overused buzz words these days. Everyone’s vying for attention with performative displays of “openness” while also not really understanding what that means. Even so, I feel it’s important to address.

As a queer woman of color I understand what it feels like to be in a room full of people who don’t look or think like you. Never really feeling like you belong. Feeling as if you’re walking a lonely road.

As a coach I recognize the need for safe spaces for those that may not fit in the traditionally white, cis, heteronormative world that is coaching.

You’ll find the landscape looks a bit different around these parts.

Know that no matter your background, what you look like, how you identify, or who you choose to love, you are welcomed here.

I honor the uniqueness that is you.

I recognize the impact that systemic racism and other forms of oppression can have on our ability to move through the world, and I am committed to supporting you as you navigate those experiences.

I am also aware that my own identities and life lessons may not mirror yours, and sometimes there are things that I simply don’t know. I always aim to learn more and do better.

Know that you are safe with me. Who you are is celebrated and your voice is heard.

We’ll navigate this together.

Confidentiality

Life coaching, unlike areas such as therapy or counseling, is a lawless land unbound by regulation or confidentiality requirements. However, I fully believe that in order to best serve you and for you to get the most out of our work together, confidentiality is a must.

So my commitment to you is this:

– All information shared with me will be held in strict confidence.

– I will never share your name, likeness, or stories in my marketing without express permission.

– I will not share, rent, or sell your personal information.
